Lead offer

The Diagnostic Sprint.

The starting point for any capability engagement. A focused, AI-accelerated diagnostic that tells you what capability problem your organisation is actually dealing with, and what to do about it, before you invest in a solution.

Most organisations invest in a solution before they've properly understood the problem.

It's the most expensive mistake in learning and development: building a well-designed answer to the wrong question. A course that doesn't change behaviour. A platform nobody adopts. A programme that treats a symptom while the real issue persists.

The Diagnostic Sprint exists to prevent that. It's a rigorous, evidence-based diagnosis of what's really happening, so that whatever you build next is built on solid ground rather than assumption.

What a diagnostic reveals

The kind of clarity it surfaces.

Every organisation is different, and what we examine depends on your context and the data available. A diagnostic typically surfaces things like these.

Where capability actually sits

A clearer picture of where capability is now versus where the business needs it to be, by role, team, or function.

What's really driving the problem

Whether the issue is genuinely a capability gap, or unclear expectations, process design, or an environmental barrier that training won't fix.

Whether learning is the right lever

An honest read on whether a learning intervention is warranted at all, and where else the real leverage might be.

A prioritised way forward

A clear, ranked set of options for what to do next, so you can make an informed decision rather than a hopeful one.

Who it's for

The Diagnostic Sprint fits if...

You need to justify your L&D spend

The diagnostic gives you the evidence base to make the right investment and defend it to your board.

You've run training that didn't change behaviour

Before you do it again, find out what actually needs to change, and whether training is even the right answer.

You're about to invest in a large programme

A diagnostic that saves you from a costly mistake is the most cost-effective first step you can take.

Something has changed and you need direction

A new system, a restructure, an AI adoption challenge, the diagnostic gives you direction, fast.

You have a problem with no clear cause

Teams underperforming, errors recurring, onboarding not working, but you don't know exactly why.

You want a partner, not another vendor

The sprint is a low-risk way to see how we work before committing to anything larger.

The approach

How the diagnostic works.

We use AI to accelerate the analysis and synthesis, so the time spent with your team goes on insight, not admin. The exact shape of each engagement is scoped to your context and the data available.

1

Understand

We align on your business objectives and the challenge as you see it, then gather the picture through stakeholder conversations and a review of the data and materials you can share.

2

Analyse

We validate the real learning need, map capability gaps, and separate genuine capability issues from performance and environmental factors, accelerated by AI where it adds value.

3

Recommend

You get a clear, decision-ready view of what's really going on and a prioritised set of options, walked through together so you can decide how to proceed.

Common questions

What people usually ask.

What if we already know what the problem is?

That's a good starting point. The diagnostic will either validate your hypothesis or surface something different. Either way, you move forward with evidence rather than assumption.

Do we have to proceed with a full engagement after?

No. The diagnostic is a standalone piece of work. You'll leave with a clear way forward you can act on yourself. There's no obligation to continue.

How much of our team's time will it take?

Less than you'd expect. Most of the input comes through a small number of stakeholder conversations. We do the heavy lifting on analysis and synthesis.

Can this be done remotely?

Yes. We work with organisations wherever they are, fully remotely. Conversations and sessions run over video call.

What does it depend on?

The depth of a diagnostic depends on the access we have to the right people and data. We'll talk through what's available and shape the work around it before anything begins.

What happens after the diagnostic?

If you want to act on what it surfaces, we can scope a Design and Build engagement directly from the findings. If you'd rather proceed independently, you have everything you need.
